Ole Smokyš
Tennessee Weekend!!
Hi yāall!! Sorry I havenāt posted in a while... Iāve been so busy with work that I havenāt had the chance to give you a post!
This weekend has been a blast... Every two years my family goes down to Gatlinburg for a week(end) during summer to get away from all the craziness! After a long day of work on Friday, my family and my wonderful boyfriend left for TN and arrived that night.
Saturdays festivities consisted of laying around and enjoying our surroundings after a full evening of driving. It was a full day of swimming and eating, thats for sure š
Sundays festivities consisted of a nice homemade breakfast that consisted of biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausages, and eggs š After breakfast, we all got ready and went to Dixie Stampede! It has been a tradition for years š After Dixie, we were all exhausted so we came back and took a nap. After a couple hour nap we got up and headed over to āThe Islandā in Pigeon Forge. The Island was fun, we went towards the evening so everything was lit up, including the Ole Smoky Mountain Wheel. My mom is terrified of heights but we somehow managed to get her to go up with us, even Reese! After we got on, she loved it!! After the Wheel we walked around the Island and went to a pizza place and of course, I HAD to go buy the sweets shop. I got a lot of sugar of course š
Mondays festivities called for going to my favorite breakfast place, the Pancake Pantry! After the Pancake Pantry we walked around downtown Gatlinburg. Reese hasnāt stop talking about getting her ears for a while now so guess what we did?? We walked right into Claireās where I first got mine done and got miss Reese cups ears pierced and let me tell you it was not easy.. We had a major freakout, but after it was finished she LOVED it. Guess what earrings she picked out? Elsa earrings from Frozen.... and she couldnāt be any happier. After that, we went to Ole Smoky Moonshine where mom, dad, and Jared tasted tested for free. After one round they bought their favorites. On our way walking back to our cars, we passed another Ole Smokey Moonshine and they did another round.... After a few minutes a couple other family members stranded their way in and they did another round of tasting... Keep in mind my dad and Jared already had 2 rounds of wine tasting before Moonshine š. Needless to say, I drove home. We then went to the go karting track and of coursed raced a lot. I won first if yāall didnāt know that already š At the Track there was an area just for little kids and so Reese rode a few things by herself but the one that stuck out the most was when she rode the kids go karts BY HERSELF. I canāt believe how much Reese has accomplished big girl things this weekend. It makes me want to cry thinking how big sheās getting...
Now the cool thing is that in 2 years I will be 21 and will be able to taste test Moonshine with the fam!!! WOO.
Hope you enjoyed this post & Subscribe!

Andrea
