On Friday the 24th, I picked up a few of my sorority sisters and headed to Camp Atterbury for summer retreat!  

When we got to the camp we made alternative "tweet bags" for every girl. They weren't bags, but they were the first letter of our name and sisters wrote one word that they felt described us. We had three different cabins to stay in, mine of which I was house mom 💁🏼 (before going to the cabin I forgot to get the cabin keys from my president but I wasn't the only house mom trying to leave and get a parking spot at the other cabin 😂).

 From starting out the day with paddle boats to ending it with s'mores, our day was filled with love, excitement, encouragement, crying, laughing, and of course lots of fun. I'm so thankful for the sisters I have and getting to see them after being away for so long. They're were four teams to represent our colors. Red, gold, green, and purple (which isn't one of our colors -- we just didn't want white) LOL. We played brain teasers all day within our teams, ate food of course, and at the end we played slip n' slide kickball 😈  (which was a blast). 

On Saturday the purple team had to get up and cook breakfast, aka pancakes and eggs which resulted in me getting pancake powder all over me. It's fine. After breakfast we socialized for most for most of the morning, took a lot of pictures with our teams and others, and paddle boated for a while. At the end of retreat we finished with a sisterhood circle, because we won't see each other for another month. 

I'm so thankful to be apart of something so great and to replenish the love I have for my sorority and sisters. ALAM ladies 💗✨
