Skincare Routine

I hope y’all are having a fabulous spring break, week, or working hard! I wanted to share my new favorite skincare routine for my dry skin in which many of you can relate to because the Midwest can’t make up its mind on what season it is 😂 also before I get started I wanted to give a little shoutout to my girl Heidi for communicating back and forth with me about these products, also the girl at target for leading her in the right direction. We have been trying to find something for our poor, dry faces 😂

I switched to the Aveeno clear complexion cream cleanser from the Mary Kay cleanser because it didn’t feel like it was doing the job. I’ll wet my face and then use this cleanser. This helps clear and prevent breakouts, it’s a “gentle cleanser”, and has soy extract!

Every other day or every third day I’ll use the Bioré pore strips!

third, I’ll rinse the excess off after you take it off the nose, let it air dry and then move to the Neutrogena hydro boost gel-cream. I use the one for extra-dry skin! This is suppose to instantly hydrate your skin and keep it looking smooth and fresh all day. After I used it, I couldn’t believe how soft and hydrated it actually looked/felt. My face has been so dry that it actually works wonders. No joke! I plan on trying more from this line for sure!   p.s. only use a little on each check, forehead, and chin because a little goes a long way (unless you have a bigger face and you’re really dry then lather that baby on) 👍🏼

Lastly, after I let my Neutrogena set in for a while I may use the Aveeno ultra calming daily moisturizer. I am usually just doing this fourth part in the morning for extra moisturizer, but at night I’ll end it with the Neutrogena gel-cream!

What’s also great about these products is that you can get them at a drugstore like your local CVS or Walgreens or you can go to Target. Super easy and convenient for you!

I hope this helps a lot of you with dry skin or for those who want to prevent breakouts and just keep your skin hydrated and have a glow to them.
